
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Kalaskey was born in Wheeling, West Virginia and was raised in Glen Dale, West Virginia. He attended West Liberty State College for three years before entering West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After dental school, Dr. Kalaskey completed a one-year general practice residency at Charleston Area Medical Center and then spent one year in private dentistry practice in Chapmanville, West Virginia. He then continued his training at WVU for an additional three years for a Master's degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Kalaskey has attended several orthodontic courses over the United States to further his knowledge in the most innovative techniques in orthodontics. Dr. Kalaskey is on part-time faculty at WVU School of Orthodontics.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Kalaskey serves as part-time faculty at the WVU School of Orthodontics, where he shares his expertise with future generations of orthodontists.
Dr. Kalaskey lives in Charleston with his wife, Traci, who hails from Lincoln County. Together, they are proud parents of two daughters and four sons: Miranda, Torren, Joseph, Jacob, Patrick, and Payden. Outside of the office, Dr. Kalaskey enjoys golfing, hunting, and skiing.
